I love Facebook, don’t get me wrong, (well, I don’t love about as much as I actually love about it) but why do people feel the need to post every personal dilemma that happens there? It is not 200-1000 people’s business what happens to you.  Some of us need lessons in self respect.

A great quote from a good movie called Easy A:

I don’t know what your generation’s fascination is with documenting your every thought… but I can assure you, they’re not all diamonds. “Roman is having an OK day, and bought a Coke Zero at the gas station. Raise the roof.” Who gives a rat’s ass?

That said, I miss being able to Myspace-pose.  I looked much better in profile pictures back then.

About Nikki

I've been writing since I was in kindergarten where I Crayola-markered an epic tale of a tiger and a balloon on a stack of lined papers folded into a booklet and stapled along the edge (carefully, and by my teacher). I love DIY, sewing, folksy music, animals and getting out to look at and listen to nature.

  1. Oh my god. Hours later, my point is proven yet again. GROSS. Somebody burn my eyes out, I don’t want to read anymore.
